The Volunteer Passport Scheme sets a volunteering standard across the borough and makes it easier to volunteer for everyone.
The passport allows volunteers to move easily between placements and record their skills, achievements and training in a skills portfolio to avoid retraining at each new placement.
Benefits to organisations are reduced training costs and project start up delays as volunteers are ready trained and ready to go.
There are hundreds of volunteers doing so much in Bracknell Forest every day. Our community needs them and the passport scheme will attract more people to volunteering and offer volunteers more opportunities.

The scheme is a project of the Community Resilience Partnership (Thames Valley Police, Bracknell Forest Council, Town and Parish Councils, the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Bracknell and Ascot CCG, Bracknell Forest Homes and involve Community Services, who are delivering the Scheme, supported by Waitrose).
