Let’s Face It!

Do you work in a customer facing role? Perhaps you’re a police officer, housing officer, hairdresser or a shop assistant?

Chances are you may meet someone who might need help. Being aware of mental health issues and where to seek advice is extremely important.

Bracknell Forest Public Health have teamed up with mental health practitioners from NHS Berkshire to deliver bespoke mental health awareness training (Let’s Face It) running from September 2022 until January 2023. Please see below for dates.

With this training you will be able to identify the signs of someone who might need help and direct them to local support. Those completing the course can expect to:

  • Recognise the signs of mental ill-health, start a conversation, and signpost to local and professional support.
  • Recognise the importance of your own mental health and wellbeing
  • Understand the impact of wider determinants of mental health
  • And most importantly help reduce the stigma around mental health

This is a free virtual training and sessions will last for approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes

AM sessions are from 10am – 1.30pm

PM sessions are from 1pm – 4.30pm
