Let’s Face It!

Do you work in a customer facing role? Perhaps you’re a police officer, housing officer, hairdresser or a shop assistant?

Chances are you may meet someone who might need help. Being aware of mental health issues and where to seek advice is extremely important.

Bracknell Forest Public Health have teamed up with mental health practitioners from NHS Berkshire to deliver bespoke mental health awareness training (Let’s Face It). People working in a frontline public facing role within the borough are encouraged to take part to increase their understanding of mental health and gain the skills and confidence to supoprt themselves and others to improve mental wellness.

With this training you will be able to identify the signs of someone who might need help and direct them to local support. The lite touch training aims to:

  • Support participants to have a greater understanding of their own mental health
  • Help participants spot the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues at early stages
  • Give participants the skills and confidence to have conversations around mental health issues
  • Provide information around local services for signposting and support

This is a free virtual training will last for approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes
