General information
We created these walks to support residents’ physical and mental wellbeing through exercise. Most walks are around 2 miles and take about an hour. Walks are suitable for adults of all ages.
What you need to bring
- comfortable and appropriate shoes for an hour long walk (specialist walking boots not needed)
- clothing suited to the weather (including hat, sunglasses, waterproof outerwear)
- remember to wear sunscreen if it is a sunny day
- bring a water bottle
Pushchairs, wheelchairs or strollers
Some walks not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or strollers. This is because they include stiles, gates, narrow paths or woodland tracks. These are:
- Binfield
- Braybrooke
- Priestwood
- Warfield
Other information
There is no access to toilet facilities at:
- Buckler’s Forest (until Community Hub opens)
- Peacock Meadow
Dogs are not permitted on Walks for Wellbeing – other than assistance dogs.
